Do I need to remount these bindings?

I picked up a new pair of skis and kingpins and am unsure if I can get away without remounting the skis. Adjusting the forward pressure all the way to the stop line without the boots in puts it behind the line after stepping in. The screw seems relatively flush with the bindings however indicating the forward pressure is probably okay. If I do need to adjust should I just move the toe piece a few cm forward? How hard is this to do on your own without a jig as every shop around here wants at least $75?

I wouldn't be worried about the screw being flush when the heel is down. It looks pretty good when you've stepped in but I might try and get the screw a little more flush with the heel. Can you adjust the heel anymore?

The heal was at the max adjustment, but when I stepped in it went way over the line. That was the issue I was worried about, not the forward pressure adjustment. I removed the toes and am just going to mark 1.5mm up and redrill. Would that have been fine to ski with?

From what I understand that should be fine!

How did the re-mount go?

In my experience it's easy to remount skis without a jig. the most challenging thing to to do is mount new skis without a jig. but still prety straigt forward.

Would it not be better to mo the heel rather than the toe? If you move the toe, you are going to change the mounting point on the ski. of you move the heel, the mounting point, in relation to boot center will remain the same... no?

Well the bindings were mounted for a boot size 197. My current boots are 214. I moved the front up about 1cm and the back still had to be adjusted backwards a bit so I assume I am still roughly around center. As far as mounting it was easier than I thought once I got the hang of it. They maybe are slightly canted, but I didn't notice it at all skiing or hiking.
