so, here's the deal, i don't know the cause of this shittyness so if you do enlighten me! the right snap on completely broke off, the left is just busted up and comes loose all the time, actually always has. i'm guessing severe damage came from slaping them back shut with it jammed up with snow. point being, are these pieces replacable, even necessary at all? or do i need new ones.

also, i just got these this season, don't have a bill really tho, so should i just call up forum and be like whats the deal? i frankly don't want to call forum...
let me know what you think.

The part is replaceable - not completely necessary unless you want to mess around with your forward lean, which adjusts the angle your leg will take once put in the binding. And really a higher forward lean is more for mountain shreddage and carving, opposed to powder or park.

This should be covered in Forum's one year warranty, if not their lifetime warranty. You could easily get a receipt for it, either through your credit card statement or from the shop that you bought them at (Assuming you got them in some sort of a legit way). It doesn't matter how much you paid for them, they just want to see a date. Send that shit back!

Personally, I wouldn't even bother because I find forward lean to be not only unnecessary, but detrimental. But you might as well get a brand new pair of free binders!

Worst case scenario, they should have these parts as free replacement parts at any store that sells Forum bindings.

wait... im confused. do you open them and close them every time you did you're bindings up?? or by Slapping them shut you mean like flipping the high back down onto the heel cup???

Theyre burton made, so 1 theyre shit, 2 they wont give you a warranty/ or take 2months to give me a new baseplate like they did with me last season. you might want to get new binders at the end of the season, or as soon as possible. but i do have a burton hate streak.

Just hope yours dont end up like mine and break seven discs, one highback, and three plates like me.

they appear to be progressively falling apart. seeing how my strap came out on my first day of the season. good thing i didn't lose the screw and fixed it with a trusty airmiles card... but ya, i never ended up calling forum and i'm on the verge of i don't give a fuck, and opting to get new ones.

I've always been a fan of ride bindings. I had vxns, sold those (stupid) and now I just ride LXs.
