Do go pros float?

no I learned that when I was filming for wakeboarding and dropped it in the water. We spent like 3 hours trying to dive down to get it. Luckily the water was only like 10 feet deep so we got it

they sink like stones.

here's an idea though: buy the new back door made for the LCD bakpak, fill it with foam and put it on. It may create enough buoyancy to float it. I'm going to give it a try soon. I'll let everyone know how it works.

Wrong! they sink like a rock. you can add those little floatys to it to make it sink slower, or a whole bunch to make it float. i always attach a leash when im on the water just in case

because of complex physic that I will not go into, the deeper the water they are placed in, the more buoyant go-pros become

here is what i did

take foam noodle with hole in the center

cut small section off foam noodle

tie rope through hole and through a mount preferably handlebar mount

dont think so, but you could always buy a floating camera strap like this to use
