Do diffrent Oakley lenses matter?

I know I saw a thread about oakley lenses but it never said how much it matters if you buy a diffrent lens, like polarized, irdium or whatever how much does it really matter, and how much diffrence it is. Also does the same apply to every goggle?

Different lenses will give you better vision in different lighting conditions. Its not life or death but there are certain lenses that will absolutely suck in the day (or at night). There are certain lenses that are good at both, but some people rock multiple lenses.

Spark Notes: Yes different lenses make a difference, but its not a must to have multiple lenses
