I heard this from someone last week, but I've never heard anybody else talking about it before, so I'm somewhat skeptical.

Can anybody confirm or deny?

no... but its like 100 bucks... compared to tuition its like nothing lol.

but it sucks there fyi

We don't, but it's a crazy cheap pass. I got the epic pass and eldora pass this year, not a bad decision. I've had some crazy pow days at eldora this season, and they opened a pretty sick park this weekend. It doesn't suck too bad right now. It's a nice pass if you can't always get a ride or want to ski after class.

it's 139 bucks early season, 199 at the start of season. don't forget the rtd bus (and your buffs bus pass). that makes for cheap skiing

if you go to CU it is the best pass money can buy in my own opinion.

here is my comparison between summit county and eldora:

eldora pros:

it was only $140

eldora is 35 minutes from boulder (meaning you can go to morning classes then ski)

there isnt a lot of traffic most of the time compared to summit county

the mountain is fun

free parking

free bus to the mountain

eldora cons:

icy conditions

windy

not a lot of steep stuff

if you are into terrain parks it sucks

summit county pros:

lots of terrain

everyone goes there so rides are not a problem

better snow

summit county cons:

$400 or something for a pass

traffic there and back

long ass lift lines

everyone goes there

the mountains are flat (not really abasin)

it is 1.5-5 hours away depending on traffic

that being said, i would probably have the epic pass if i was not from aspen and didnt spend my time skiing there for all the breaks. anyone that says eldora sucks and you should go to summit county is either 1) a terrible skier (if you cant shread groomers, bumps, powder, glades then you suck) 2) or they have never actually skied there.

have fun, no matter what it is skiing
