Do cool rocks that you find and keep count as pet rocks?

I found an awesome pebble about 12 years ago and I still have it in my room. I never thought about it til the other day, but is that little pebble my pet rock? Who else has rocks that they have kept around?

I keep rocks from everywhere I travel to but that does not mean they are my pets. I have a lovely cat that already fills the position of pet in my life.

i have sea glass from a beach in every country/state that i visited the beach in. i also have some shells from ecuador, and a bunch of rocks from colorado.

It does all the same duties as a pet rock. It's a little piece of nature like a pet. Obviously it can't be like a real pet, but all those rocks you keep are your pet rocks.
