i know that shinbang is caused by landing backseat, boots being too loose etc.. but is having boots that are a little too big for you foot can this make you get shinbang easier?
i might sound like a fool but im just trying to stay out of pain..

There is no need to claim searchbar when it take like no time to answer the dude's question man.

Yes they definitely do. Any movement and any gaps between the boot and your actually leg/foot cause friction/impact between your actual boot and your leg.. ultimately leading to shinbang/toebang/shinsplints, etc. The goal of a good fitting boot is to have no impact between the boot and body. Theres pretty much no downside to getting a snug fitting boot. You'll have better edge control, less injury potential, and overall you'll enjoy skiing much more. The only time anyone will ever fit a boot big is if the kid is 6 years old and outgrows shoes every 2 months. Then you fit big. Otherwise you fit correct.

Boots that are too big are always going to cause problems, Shin Bang being one of the least serious

um shin bang is pretty much the worst boot problem possible, with the possible exception of blisters.

big boots? makes it a hell of a lot easier to break your ankle. im fairly sure that a broken ankle is more serious than blisters

big boots can cause a whole host of problems, shin bang, toe bang, afterbang, finger bang, hammer bang... Pretty much any kind of bang you can think of.

I'm the inventor of the Shintronic (www.shintronic.com). It is not only about preventing 'shin bang' (which they do almost 100%), but you will enjoy the power. grip and control effects as well. Not happy, just reply! We made some changes by leaving the outer padding away this season (better fit, less volume, less pressure) and we provide an optional elastric strap preventing sliding up. If you have any specific questions, do not hesistate to ask via info@manoove.com . We receive very positive reactions from the Park etc.

i had to use some boots that were a size to big for me and i never got shin bang( was kinda suprised) but all the hair on my shin was gone from rubbing against the boot so no i would not say to big of a boot equals shin bang but it is prob could contribute depending on the boot and how you ski most likely or the boots you have might not fit right.

Actually that sounds kinda cool, but Ima just go with boots that fit right in the first place.
