Do 3 piece boots really help that much with shin bang?

yo guys ive been getting hella shin bang for the past 2 seasons and i’ve tried everything; booster straps, inserts, tightening boots more, tib/calf strengthening, etc. but i still get shin bang basically every time i ski. its not all from back seat landings either, and im not skiing in the back seat, but every time i leave the groomers the shin bang just builds up. rn ive got a pair of k2 mindbender 100 boots with the expert booster straps on em; do yall think it would be worth it to get a pair of 3 piece boots in an attempt to avoid more shin bang?

-Full tilts will magnify shin pain if they don’t work for you. Any boot will

-masterfit eliminator tongues

-spoilers

-You might be iron deficient

-stop tail buttering just don’t do it

-land bolts every time

-bend your knees more just a little bit more

-train your glutes not your thighs

-stretch lower body heavily before and after skiing

that’s my list

Ski with your boots unbuckled for a while - this will teach you a lot about your skiing posture.

Otherwise:

- Try softer boots with more padding?

- See a doctor?

i used to get shin bang and i started skiing with my top strap looser and it fixed my problems. I think a tighter top shin strap hurts the shin more. try skiing with everything tight except the top buckle and shin strap, leave those more lose.

Stretch stretch stretch also ice and rest when it gets really bad. I started the season stretching my shins every day and didn't have any shin bang. Then I got lazy and stopped. Within two days boom major shin bang was back. I only do like five or six stretches but they really help

what kinda stretches do u do for shins?

Fill the boot with queso. With that level of warm cushioning, the boots will not only feel like a cloud, but flex like a cloud. Nothing better than getting in warm queso filled boots in the morning.
