DIY Wall Ski Mount?

I just bought a house and am looking for some cool ideas for a DIY ski mount in our garage, ideally for at least 4 pairs of skis. I haven't really seen anything I like so far... Anyone have any ideas that have worked well?

Congrats!!! My husband built us a ski mount using stainless steel tubing to hold like 10 pairs horizontally and it turned out great but was a ton of work. A simple like angled wood peg system would probably also work great.

I was thinking something like an angle wood peg as well.

You can use pegs/dowels spaced like an inch or two apart to hang skis vertically by the tips/tails or between bindings

You might try to make your own version of the pro board racks wall mount with 2x4s and screws:

And what the hell, here's their floor rack for some additional inspiration:

I might add, the floor mount is NOT suitable for skis. Great for skateboards, but way too narrow to clear your bindings. Just here for inspiration.

You might also consider getting 2 runs of shelf tracks and a mess of track brackets for a super easy solution

They're really cheap at big box hardware stores

This is kinda more what it would look like:

People throw these things away all the time, you might score some on Craigslist under something like "closet shelves"
