DIY Snowskate Stomppad?

Hey fellas

I recently found an old rubbish snowskate and figured why not break it out at the skatepark this winter?

Anyone have some ideas for a good diy stomppad for the top. Its only got foam rn which is super slippery. Grip tape doesn't fair well in snow either I think so I need some creativity here

If you already have it, you can staple gun a sheet of steel lath over the entire top of the board.

You might have it laying around for walkway traction if you work at a resort. Otherwise you can get it decently cheap at home depot.

If you don't have it all laying around, it's probably cheaper to buy a $10 scrap pack from Gripall Global.

The dude makes it in like North Pole, Alaska so it's cool to have something from Santa's Workshop.

Thanks I like the idea of staple gunning some walkway grip to the thing. The snowskate is absolute rubbish that bends like crazy when you try to boardslide a pipe or whatever.
