so i guess thats the name of the skis that logan imlachs riding, according to his insta. I think its fuckin rad that he designed an entire quiver of gnar sticks just for himself. however the question is..

will he give into the temptations of the rockstar lifestyle that many ski company founders live or will he stay local, say fuck you to all the 12 year olds that wanna be as core as him, and keep making skis only for himself?????

OP, You are have been SERIOUSLY misinformed about the sort of lifestyle that ski company founders live.
 
The brand name is "YKNOT". Naturally, because when people ask me why i started building skis, the answer is "well, why the fuck not?"

And you are correct, I've already sold out. My top 3 sponsors this year are fucking sick: Alaska Airlines Signature Visa, Delta Skymiles AmEx, and Wells Fargo Platinum Visa. My sponsors buy beer and strippers, it's fucking tight.
 
if you could design and build your own skis, why would you buy some over priced crap.

i have always felt that ski companies have to make skis based on regular ski technology for warranty purpose. whereas twintips, should be freestyle and could to be custom built to perform in radical ways. dont get too radical, you dont wanna look crazy...
 
There isn't really much more of an explanation. I get along great Casey (owner) and Moments will always be my favorite skis, but it's just something I wanted to do. He has even offered me cnc services for my molds for free, though I declined because I feel like they have to be handmade. Sure, sucks not having paying sponsors but sometimes you just gotta do what feels right and makes you happy.

And as far as strippers accepting credit cards, cash advance from the ATM at the strip club, rookie.
 
target.com btw the term "selling out" is so stupid in skiing, freeskiers don't make any money either way... they can't sell out. Rappers sell out, not flow program work all summer semi-pros.
 
I was contemplating not selling any from this first run, but I've had a change of heart about that. I may sell 2 pairs of bamboo park skis at the end of the season. Maybe I'll just do some kind of contest and give a pair away. We'll see.
