Recently I've been really careless with my skis and there are holes in the base bc of rocks, beer cans, you name it. I've actually peeled a piece of plastic from the base of one of my skis about 3" long and 1/4" deep. What should i do about filling it

+++k

thanks

But some ptex from type local ski shop. Melt it into the holes (follow directions on box for specifics) then scrape it smooth. Easy, effective and cheap!

scrape at 45 degree angle and melt extra ptex into hole, as it will shrink

If there is still base material at the bottom of the hole then you can use a Ptex candle... if it's gone right through to the core then melt-in Ptex won't stick worth a damn, get a base patch done.
