Have you tired any nicer trim to fit first?

ya it’s what i have right now. it’s certainly better than what was originally in there but the fit just isn’t quite right.

I used superfeet in my skates for years. When I got new ski boots I popped a pair into the liners and I like them so far. I think they were like 60$ cad

A DIY heat molded footbed is a terrible idea. You are absolutely going to mold it wrong and incorrectly position your foot in the wrong orientation, forever. Better off sticking with a trim to fit until you find a trained professional to mold you up correctly.

really? they seem readily available to the point where it’s a legit product that many people use. i’m sure there are many good tutorials out there as well.

Typically there’s a decent amount of work and specific equipment they use to do the whole mold process.

right, i understand how the professional ones are done in the shop but these are just a trim to fit footbed that you put in the over for a bit and then step on to leave a slight imprint.

That’s not a custom insert then. That’s just a trim to fit. Not the same at all.

If you heat something and step onto it, then all you are doing is capturing your pronated foot, which is NOT what you want. This is not how to make a footbed.

The technology is not there. The marketing is.
