Dislocated patella?!?!

so, we've all heard of knee injuries, but a dislocated patella i think is a rarer one that i've heard of. too bad it also fucks up the miniscus, mcl, and acl too.

yep. koodos out to my boy please. he just did that yesterday at the basin while (no claim here) getting of his ass and finally learning pretzels. stupid inside edge.

if you know scott (you know. winn. the 6'4" goon)... ie. benditto here. send him some lovin.

i dislocated mine 2 seasons ago. normally it doesnt mess up the acl, mcl, or meniscus. it took about 10 weeks to heal enough to ski and about 14 to feel pretty close to normal. you just have to make sure you strengthen your leg so it doesnt happen again. ive been fine since it happened. good luck.

man that scares me cause i got acl surgery like 4 years ago n to do the surgery they removed the center third of my patella and made it my new acl. internally my knee is fine, but my patella hurts like a mother fuck sometimes so i hope it doesnt dislocate.

it is quite ugly to see a patella dislocated its usually the quad tendon and the patella/tibial ligament that get fucked the most none the less its still gonna set him back a bit...let me know how he ends up this stuff is my major

when my friend dislocated his kneecap it like popped out and slid around to the side... it was realllyyy weird, but he was just lauhging.

and, that sucks, get better soon

uguguguhhhshh.... that sounds painful for sure. I hade pattellar tendonitis. it's so painful to have any sort of knee injury.

I fractured my patella in July and am currently trying to get my leg back to normal. I lost a good 3" in diameter on my thigh, so I've got a long ways to go. Take care of it while recovering and I hope it all can be fixed ok!

ouch, that really sucks. i'm lucky for shit like this and back injuries and stuff though cause my dads a chiropractor.

i have that but its a constant condition that makes everything to do with knees painful. the knee cap moves laterally out of its track when you put pressure on it. so as you can imagine your leg isn't strong structurally.

maybe if every skier with knee injuries mated with eachother, after millions of years of evolution we would develop super wicked strong knees

yeah i have done that like over twenty times over the last four years and last year got sugery to repair it finally, it sucks the only thing that helped me to ski with it was a brace it still dislocated but almost no swelling and could still ski but yours might be more serious
