Disaster Aluminum Rail?

My school has this cool ass spot, always thought it would be cool to 5050 the ledge and disaster/tap the end of the rail. It’s aluminum though, but i feel like I wouldn’t even be on the rail long enough to catch… idk?

Go up to it and see how sturdy she is. I’d be more worried about breaking it. I’ve found some aluminum joints that are super doable but the damn things are just so thin and flimsy that it would never work even if you had your edges ripped out.

i learned that steel edges don't slide on aluminum by eating shit on a really big mean street rail so maybe i'm scared of aluminum more than necessary but in my mind a concrete ledge and aluminum rail begs for a pair of street skis with edges ripped out

you're right that it'll be short and quick though so maybe some wax on the rail would do it?

edgelesses would make it so you dont even have to give it a second thought but it might still go with regular ones if youre light on your feet
