Disappointed with full tilt :( help?

i bought some 08/09 hot doggers and i've already replaced one buckle on the right foot, however in the last month two buckles broke on my left boot (lower and middle) now normally this wasn't a problem to swap them out but the screws wont budge and i took them to my local ski shop and they said the screws wont move either

when they tried moving them the screws appeared to be made of plasticine they were that soft they rounded out as the screw driver turned

they had to be drilled out and now the bottom hole for the cable is too big and i may have to drop money which i dont have on new boots

could i use 2 washers either side to stop the screw holding the lower cable from falling through?

i love full tilt but the last couple of weeks have dented my confidence in them :/

Side question, I think some of my buckles are messed up. One of them won't budge and the other moves to freely so when I put it on as tight as it can go it ends up being all the way loose at the end of the day. Anyone had this problem, suggestions?

Nearly all my buckles have been replaced but I love them so. Fuckin go to home hardware and make it work, the rest of the boot is obviously fine.

Have this problem as well, and I can't figure it out either. Anyone have any way to fix it. I was thinking shorter cables but can't find any.

Just take them to jules and see what he can do for you, if any one can fix them he can. But just get some new boots, those things held together with electrical tape are done. Next years SPK 100 is fitting tighter then previous years and it will be stiff enough for you, see if any one can get you some.

i dont have the money for ski boots at the moment, the money in my bank is needed to clear NZ immigration to prove i can afford to be there

the buckles can be replaced, just the thing that holds the cable at the bottom the O shaped thing has left a hole in the boot when it was removed and falls through it

also, for people that haven't seen the boots i'm rocking

that circular thing is the cause of the problem at the moment

also, full tilt uk don't stock many spare parts according to a few people, can the real full tilt have a word with them please?
