I'll get started with my trip with two of my best friends to Zion National Park. We camped for free at a sketchy spot next to a river during an especially rainy week which was dumb, begged people outside of an overpriced grocery store for firewood money, ate poptarts in the morning and sausage with ramen at night as our other food spoiled. We filled up 6 gallon water coolers in a water fountain at the park, which leaked and soaked all of our toilet paper. Hiked Angels Landing and The Narrows, and all of the easy hikes on our down day. On our way back we pulled into a camp spot in Moab for 5 minutes and decided it was too hot and too expensive so we turned around and drove to Glenwood Springs where we consumed some beverages at a jazz festival and camped in someones front yard after running into an old friend. the next day we stopped at a burger joint, we were out of food, where we got yelled at for brushing our teeth in the parking lot. Total cost was just under $150 per person including gas from Denver.

4 of us rode our motorcycles to Penticton for august long about 10 years ago. Rode like complete assholes the whole way down, wheeling past cars, passing on the shoulder stuff. Had zero reservations or any plans of any type. Slept the friday night under a tree in a park in SA, woke up at 4am because of the water sprinklers. Got to Penticton, the place was packed, no vacancy's. got into the OK campground, basically just a big party, it was something like $10 each for the weekend and you setup your tent where ever. tents were literally side by side. Couldn't buy a fucking tent anywhere to save our lives, bought dingy's instead. Didn't matter, three of us hooked up with a group of girls with sick tent setups, the other guy got wrapped up with swingers and apparently spent the weekend banging some dudes wife. Spent the weekend boozing it up on the beach, floating down the river and general shenanigans. Was a blast and one of the best adventures of my life.
