Yeah, Incubus' bass player left over creative differences, and now the bassist from The Roots is joining them, apparently the newly designed group has made 19 songs for the new album, they'll play some on Lollapalooza.

Incubus sucks, I wish the band had broken up instead of just having their bass player leave. GDawg, your post title brought my hopes up, and then they crashed down when I read your post. Now I'm sad.

Damn you, Incubus kicks so much ass, I doubt anybody that says they hate them has listened to their first CD's, which are by far the best. And if a cool guy from the roots is joining them, you know they're cool shit.

incubus is fucking awesome. their first couple albums were the best, but dirk leaving sure does suck ass because the way that bass flows just puts anyone in a chill mood... i love it

www.lollapalooza.com, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, J5, Jane's Addiction, and Audioslave brought it back because they simply thought it would kick ass. And Dirk Lance was good, but the guy from The Roots is insane, he'll adapt to all the old songs really fast, he's got really good flow and his style fits perfect for Incubus.

Their new CD is kickass too, just because they don't scream as much doesn't mean it doesn't rock your shit. Also, if you listen to aqueous transmission, you can get stoned without smoking it's so incredibly chill.
