DIN wont change?

I'm trying to adjust the din on the heel of my salamon S810 ti bindings, but no matter how much i turn the screw either way nothing happens.

What's the deal? are they broken?
 
Well you could be turning the wrong thing first off. Make sure you are turning the din and not something else. The problem also could be is that the din indicator is not working. When this happens you are actually turning up the din but the din indicator doesn't move so it looks like its staying the same. Ive seen this problem before. The other problem could be that they are just broken. Take them to a shop so you don't screw them up.
 
Yea I'm definitely turning the din screw and the heel pops easily no matter how much i turn it, so I'm pretty sure there's just something wrong internally. I was just hoping someone had this problem before and knew of a way to fix it.
 
The spring in the heel could've broken/been dislodged, but that's just a guess. I'd take it to a shop before it gets even more broken.
