Din settings

im 6,1, and 190 pounds. on my big mountain skis (liberty double helix) i have fks 18s on 12 for cruising, 15 to 18 for comps depending on condition

Park skis (Atomic Punx) Marker Jesters on 11

yes and before u say there too high i do release out of them when crashing

I very much agree with you.

Why is seriously EVERYBODY in the US always talking about suing. It's all you guys do.

Anyway, I ride mine 8 the beginning of the season, firs few days till I get the feeling back. Then crank them up to 9/10 or something. I'm 6"5, 200 lbs and have a 328mm boot. Now, if there would be anyone needing to have high DIN's it would be me. And guess what: I fucking don't, because I know how to ski and don't wanna get injured.

Id rather have my ski pop off then fuck my knee over. ive had mine set at a 7 last year when i had them put on and that was perfect for me. 5'10 165-175 with backpack. and 315mm. now that ive been doin butters and 360's and ive been popping out to much

im goin to turn mine up to 8.5 and go tighter or loser from there to see what i like.

the website told me to put it at 8.5 what do you guys think.

That is to say, http://www.protias.com/Pictures/Thread/27ahgeeez.jpg[/img

If that doesn't work then fuck it

Here's a Q: Do bindings know how tall you are? In other words, would you recommend a different setting for someone who's 5'7" 190 as you would for someone who's 6'3" 190? It never really made sense to me that height would really matter. I mean...i guess there could be different levels of angular torque applied to the knee with a longer lower leg, but that seems like a stretch.

For me, I ride 9.5 park and 10.5 powder. I inched up my park din a bit over the last year after ejecting on a couple stomped landings. Seems to work fine. I am 5'8, 150, and have 63lb testicles.

well taller people have a higher center of gravity and thus less stable so yes height is important for bindings

wow some amazing post on here, can't believe what some people rock there dins at (so low).

I'm like 5'10, 145 and have my JJs set at 11 front and 12 back. Can't be fucking around when you're skiing in the BC!

i think some of these posts are rediculous. as tijmendal said, you dont need high DINs. im 6ft 205 and rock an 8 for my park ski. and whoever said 18 for comps, your just flat out fucking retarded. i dont know why having high DINs is such an ego thing.
