I mounted px 12's on 175 4frnt vct turbo. Its my only ski right now. I ski alot of backcountry at Crystal mtn. Washington, alot of deep wet snow. I'm 6ft even, 159. The shop set them at 8, is that going to be sufficient?

1. read the sticky, we are not supposed to help with din questions

2. if you don't already know, don't touch your din from the start

3. if you keep popping out, bump your din up a half turn, rinse and repete, but ONLY if you eject all the time when you shouldn't have

We arn't supposed to help with DIN question because if some stupid 12 year olds tells you to crank your DIN to 16 and you blow your knee... that wouldn't be good. But 8 sounds like a solid number, I would trust your shop

a lot goes into setting the DIN, height, weight, BSL, skier ability, etc. its best that a shop sets your DIN as they can do it correctly based on your abilities and physical characteristics. DO NOT ADJUST YOUR DIN.
