Different DINs for heel/ toe pieces

Well.. if you ejeected because of pressure on your toe. it would release with the din set on the toe, and vice versa.

The only way i could think that you would need this is because of some weird injury that you dont want to reinjure. That or mitchmatched bindings

what exactly do you mean here? like, you have a toe and heel from two different bindings? like a px12 toe with a px14 heel or something? or you're just running different DIN on your heel and toe, like 9 in the toe and 10 in the heel? if it's the second scenario, i don't see a problem with that at all. i run all my bindings a little higher in the heel because i do a lot of nose press/butter stuff and i'm not a fan of double ejecting onto my face, while still maintaining an appropriate DIN in the toe. if it's the first scenario, yeah, you're going to have to sign your life away to get a shop to mount those on the books, not that i don't have skis with mismatched bindings sitting in my garage right now...
