We all know bud and coors and shit. But what are good DIFFERENT BEERS. Today I had Magic Hat, Circus Boy. Blue Moon. and Harpoon. What are you favorite "different beers" that are good to try
 
moosehead is delectable.

guniness, although not "different" is probably my favorite.

some crazy ass beer from mexico that they had kegs of at a DC United soccer game
 
i think its called alaskan amber. really high alcohol content, its a pretty dank beer. anything for the big sky brewing company, such as summer honey. trout slayer is money
 
sierra nevada pale ale

Newcastle Brown Ale

Spitfire Ale (if you can get ahold of that in the US, let me know ASAP)

Bass Ale, not really that different, althought its pretty tasty

Kronenbourg 1664, kinda like the budweiser of france, but not as good IMO

Fat Tire/Tyre belgian ale

sierra pale ale and i just discovered woodchuck. they call it beer, but i'm

pretty sure its just apple cider with alcohol. really good though. and

yuengling...its a pennsylvania thing.
 
I drink a lot of Pabst...

Long trail ale is a legit beer, so is Red Hook blonde ale

I like Sam Adams Boston Lager too...hmm beerrrrr
 
Blue Moon is the shit, pour in frosty mug with a slice of orange=dankness. Only gay thing is that Blue moon is owned by Coors. Pilsner urquell is super refreshing, and recently I have been drinking a lot of Dale's Pale Ale(by Oscar Blues) microbrew in a can. I love beer.
 
Yuengling is in PA and is the oldest brewery in America.

As for my favorites, anything by these brewers:

Dogfish Head

Stone

Bell's

Victory

Yard's

(Most) Sam Adams

Sierra Nevada

 
Chimay Red Cap and Blue Cap are my favourite beers. I recently tried Innis&Gunn and was impressed with its distinctiveness. Maximumsushi on here is the guy to ask about beer, he's an expert.
 
have any of you all had Widmer Brothers ummm shit I forget what it's called. It looks a lot like Blue Moon. Kind of that semi opaque look. Its very tasty. I think the brewery is out of Washington or Oregon.
 
im not normally a bitch about the search thing, but there is a really good mega beer thread already, it was a sticky for a while and i posted like 3 huge things in it that i dont want to go through again, so hit it up.
