sup ns, so my local ski shop only gets in atomic panics and not the punx, i have heard they are very similar, but i don't know how similar, can someone tell me the main differences and if i should just buy the panics cause it will be less of a hassle and a lot cheaper.. um, i'm 5'7 100 lbs (shut up i know i'm skinny) aha and i ski 70 rails 30 jumps and every once in a while hardly ever i do all mountain and pow.

They aren't similar at all since the punx is a park ski, while the panics are more of an all mountain ski.

The punx have an 82mm waist while the panics have an 87mm waist. The panics have rocker while the punx don't as they have traditional camber.

Check out the atomic skis website for more details.

This Dude Nailed it! I've skied on the Punx for the past 2 seasons, and just picked up a new pair of them. For what you wanna do I would recommend the punx For sure! The Panics also don't have symmetrical Side cut like the Punx.

The Punx is true twin so it has a symmetrical shape and flex, and is also super light and poppy- it's a real park ski. The Panic is more of an all mountain twin tip. It has a directional shape and flex and a slightly stiffer flex pattern. If you primarily stay in the park and rarely ride all mountain, then have your shop order up the Punx for you.
