Difference in stiffness between right and left ski. Is this a big problem?

So I bought a pair of Atomic Bent 100 22/23 but still in original packaging. The problem is that I noticed that one ski is stiffer and springier than the other, also the softer ski has half a centimeter less camber. The difference in stiffness is noticeable along the entire length, the tips of one ski are easier to bend. Do you think I should just ride them or try to return them to the store? Return may be problematic because the guy I bought them from bought them a long time ago, and the store most likely won’t be able to replace them with the same model since it is out of stock

They didn't give me any information about this problem, they just told me to go to the store where they were purchased to sort it out. [/quote]

If you have proof of purchase, go to a shop see what they say in terms of warranty, that is if it can be seen in a picture. The crack way to fix it is just flex the fuck out of the stiffer ski for a couple weeks, see if you can get it to match

Were they in wrap? Maybe one was used for display, and had people flex testing it often even though the stickers were still on it? That being said, I had a pair from a popular freestyle brand a couple years ago that ended up having 3mm more tail rocker in one skis, so the edges weren't aligned when the skis were put together. They ended up warrantying them after much pressure on my end

Yeah, completely wrapped with all stickers on. I got a receipt from the seller and am now trying to change them under warranty. But this model is no longer available, so I don’t know how the store can replace them. If I can't change them, do you think I'll feel the difference in stiffness? I'm not a great skier, so maybe it's not such a problem?

Do you mean 1 extra mm of camber on one ski? 1 cm would be crazy given that the Bent 100 only has 5-6 mm of camber to begin with.

And the newer Bent 100 is the same ski just with different graphics.

Extra 5mm. I know it's the same ski, but the store won't change it for a newer version.

Totally sounds like a warranty issue that the store and/or Atomic should handle. Bummer. Maybe someone out there has the opposite pair of your skis, you should find them ?

It sounds like a warranty issue... It's not a huge deal though, you can definitely still shred them and probably won't notice a massive difference. Its more of a "I paid a lot for these skis, they should be as advertised". Just be cool about it and hopefully they can help you out
