how do you make these? we tried today and all we got was coke everywhere and it failed miserably. we just tried putting the mentos in and capping it right away but i guess if you put the whole pack in wrapper and all itll give you more time to cap it. ill try again tomorrow.

i tried it yesterday with putting mentos in an open bag then stuffing into coke can, then shake it up after its closed, but when i tried the rocket it only went like 3 feet high, how else can you do it?

okay i tried again today and we had minor success. what we did was put a whole roll of mentos with the wrapper still on inside the coke. we loosened the wrapper a little bit to make the reaction happen sooner. just make sure that there are no mentos visible or else it will blow up in your face. then screw on the lid & shake. make sure you give the mentos time to react. then loosen the cap a little bit and either throw it up in the air or slam it on the ground. if you do it right the thing should propel itself somewhere.
