Diaries Down Under: Snowboarding With Jossi Wells

Not sure if my meter is broken but the little paragraph before the video hating on skiers was pretty lame if they're serious. Good video though, Jossi just kills it!

 
No, it's actually still cool for snowboard mags to hate on skiing. Remember last spring when wallisch "snaked" videograss and snowboarder mag grammed it. Yup, killing it snowboarding.

But holy fuck jossi, it's not even fair that you're that good and both snowboarding and skiing.
 
I hate this. It makes snowboarding seem so dumb and then all the shits who hate riding come out saying "luk who esi it is, fuc snowbordin". It's because he has a ton of balance and awareness because he's A PRO SKIER.
 
I can't remember if it was him or someone else, but there's been a video on here of some pro skier who snowboarded pretty good.

The blurb above it doesn't make me mad, it just depresses me. Seriously? Cut the fucking hate. It's pretty rare for any skiing website to put up an edit that has bangin' snowboarding and say "apologies in advance for the boarding."
 
Banks shreds the single plank harder than Jossi I'd say. Braedon can also dub 12 on skis and slays just as hard on a board. Then there's that vid of some unknown kid who can do like 2 dubs on skis and 4 on a board or some shit
 
Also our lord and savior tom walish can do some flippy spinnies on a board but is seriously lacking in style
 
I just don't understand how you can make fun of skiing when the person you're praising at snowboarding is huge in the ski world. It's just stupid in all senses.
 
Honestly most people who spend more than a week a year skiing/boarding aren't like that and get on with and understand the others. Obviously there are exceptions but they just need some education. It would be helped if mags like this gave up on appealing to the lowest form of intelligence. I'm not mad but why did they feel the need to apologise for a couple of clips of sick skiing? its not like its going to burn the retinas of snowboarders if they watch it.

Seriously though jossi needs to lose the dirty beard. He looks like one of those dirtbag snowboarders you see on the hill.
 
Check out the facebook comments underneath though. There's quite a few snowboarders there disagreeing with the "skiing is lame" shit.

if he focussed on skiing as much as he does trying to be a style guru then you can only imagine how much better he would be.
 
that vid did make me sad. jossi is already better than me at snowboarding and iv been riding for 4 east coast short seasons. about 100 days on snowboards total
 
Wow Jossi is a terrible athlete. He should quit skiing and go live with the cactus in the desert.
