Diamond Peak

I'm looking into Sierra Nevada College and Diamond Peak is the nearest resort. I wasn't able to find any past threads about this mountain... so my question is how is it? Decent snowfall? Good runs? It seems like a small mountain and that there isn't much challenging terrain.

Alpine is hot, one of the best in tahoe...I don't know about Diamond peak.

I went to SNC for 2 years and skiied at DP 4 times while I was there. It's cool because its so close, espically if you dont have a car or anything, but its small, not very challenging, and it has less snowfall because its on the north east side of the lake.

I get my pass at Alpine. It's a good mountain with some sick terrain, a good park, and gets more snow.

uhh, nver really been to dp in the last few years, but i ski at alpine whenever i ski. so my advice would be to ski alpine, they will hopefully have the young adult pass again, wich is $199, and good all the time. they have a variety of terrain and it's not as 'touristy' as squaw. park is pretty good too.

Diamond Peak is a lump that's like a cancer in Tahoe. You might as well make the drive to Heavenly.

diamond peak is an old persons resort.. Its not a lump of cancer it just a lot of cancer skiing on it..
