Okay, so here's the deal. Looking for a new pair of boots and I've narrowed it down to these two boots. I race for my ski team and also do a good deal of freeskiing. I ski mostly in New Hampshire and Vermont, I like to straight line, and I dabble in the park. What boot would you recommend for me?

If you raced, you might want the tecnicas because the flex is stiff, ignition's flex is 85. I think diablos is 115, not sure though.

but generally they are close enough to tell. They best way to tell is to look at the stiffest race boot of one company (Tecnica 130) and (130 Nordica). This tells you that they are fairly similar in their flexing by numbers

get whichever one fits your foot better. the ignitions are pretty damn narrow. i think the technica has a little bit wider last. try both on and see what works for you. that's definitely the kind of boot you should be looking at though.

my reply was supposed to be quoting the guy before me that talked about boot flexes being different
