Im not surprised at all. Duncan and Dorey had super good runs in those qualifier vids. They show that you don't need to do a 1080 on every hit if your run is tech and you make an effort for style. Thanks for not making half pipe skiing lame.
 
i was there for qualifying and tanner was going so much bigger than anyone, not surprised at all he won. and what did happen to simon? he did great in qualifying
 
Byron did compete in pipe, Jossi did NOT compete because I think he twisted his ankle in his boot or something before the comp.

And yes, it was fucking cold, like negative 20 degrees, and snowing, and strong winds. Miserable.
 
Simon would have had a decent second run if he didn't fall on that lil' 7 (it was tiny on last hit, not sure tha exact spin).

Simon didn't get as high as he usually does. Just not his night.

T-Hall said after that he had doubles and everyone there had a ton of better tricks to throw but it was to cold and snowy so they said they were gonna wait.

i hate internet fights, but i just think he meant that he though simon could have thrown down harder, not that he had beef with the judging (which i think too).
oh and who calls someone a retard over the internet? this isn't middle school football, silly.
 
I dont think hes talking about this one moment. No matter what subject is brought up youre completely negative, ive never heard you say something good about him even when he does throw down in an event.
And if he didnt run out of pipe at the end on his last run he definitely would have podiumed, but he didnt have enough room for his 10, tried to make it a 7, still didnt work. Tanner, Justin Dorey, and Duncan Adams all had sick runs. all deserved it
 
Can you seriously get over it already?So Dumont wasn't pumped about skiing your shit resort with a bunch of gaper kids in shit weather. Just because freeskier wouldn't take your picture because of 'no poles' which is just a cover for saying they don't take pictures of your wack ass, unstylish tricks. I can see why Dumont wouldn't want to ski with you.
Let it be in the past, I am sure there are far better reasons to hate him.
