Anyone else catch when the announcers for mens slope final said on Alexi's second run "and thats a switch 1080, thats three and a half spins."
A lot of people bitch about how the announcers don't know enough about skiing. I just wish they knew third grade math.

It's true. Best host for 4frnt tech talk too. He should do audio books or radio or something. He should maybe do something ski show related if that ever starts up again.
 
he could just talk about anything, put it on a cd, and i would buy it. i would literally pay to hear his voice. i just love listening to him talk. he's gonna be like an anchorman or something when he gets old
 
luke VV also slays at selling stuff. at the prosale in boulder back in october he sounded better than billy mays at slinging gear out for much more than anyone else coulda made. he's basically awesome.

they called bdog jf huel im pretty sure, and said that b dog had some trouble his first run on the rails even though it was the same as the second time.
 
correct. and is it just me or did he also call every bio a flatspin? I am 99% sure they are completely opposite but who knows, im a snowboarder
 
I think the worst was last year at euro X when the guy was talking about Wallisch playing clarinet or something in primary school. LVV is so good though
