Detuning your ski edges for park

well i was wondering what you guys think the best way to detune your ski edges for the park. I was wondering this because it feels like i took a different approach to it the last few years inwhich i just slid the ski edge up against some metal.

use a gummy stone. it won't mess up your edges but it detunes them nicely.

if they're just sharp from the factory i just slide rails and they go down super quick.

Take them to a shop and find a staff member who is clued up on this stuff (or a snowboarder even) who can grind them dull.
