Detuning edges with something other than a diamond file?

Or where to get one other than a ski shop because all my local shop owners don't even know what a diamond file is. I just got new skis for Christmas and would like to quickly detune my edges without having to order a file online

a regular file at a 45 OR hard gummy stone OR just plain old ski em and hit the rails and let it happen over time. should only take a few rails to round em underfoot.

Yep as others said a regular file is what you want. A diamond file would take a lot of time to properly detune your edges. Diamond files are used to finish the edge after a standard file is used. So just go get a regular fairly fine file and then you can use a gummy or Simons file to clean them up at the end.

Or if you have access to a belt sander thats the quickest way to put a super sharp 45 degree bevel on your base
