I've been gone at school for about 5 years and this is my first winter back near the garbage dump hills.. Question is, what area now has the best part? Holly? Brighton? Pine Knob? I checked out their websites but they blew and didnt tell me shit. Any help would be great, I need somewhere to rip. Thanks

pine knob, the other places depress me and drive me to drink in my wife beater and trucker hat and slap the lil lady around

pine knob...grooms there park 1 - 1.5 times a day and proably has the best jumps anywhere, biggest hit was measured by some snowboarders at around 55ft. Pine knob also has a decent varity of rails and boxes and apperntly has a TON more including a teter totor box but none of the have the plexi glass to go on the top of them, they will hopefully be up this year. I skied Mt holly for about a year they didnt groom there park as well as pine knob and it seemed to me the jumps and rails where all smaller than pine knob, although mt holly seemed like it wasnt as crowded as pine knob, i havent skied there in about a year though. Brighton (i havent been there for about 1-2 years) and when i was there they had shitty jumps but some pretty cool rails that were real close to the ground though. I dont know much about Alpine valley but the one time i was there they had some pretty sick looking rails but i never got the chance to try them. If i were you i would defently goto pine knob. To get the best idea i would look at the peoples videos who post on here then you will get a better idea of the shit. I did this to the best of my knowledge and havent been to these places in about 1-2 seasons.

Thanks for the info.. I havent been to any of those hills in about 5 years so hopefully things have came along way. I doubt I'll be able to get out as much as I want but I'll be around as much as time and money allow. Thanks again

try to visit the fam and friends a couple times a winter and usually drive right by brighton and alpine so that i can go to pine knob. Been to pine knob a few times each of the last few seasons. None of the jumps ever felt like 55 to me at most 40 but they are usually smooth and have fun/decent lines. They also expanded and now have a park and tow rope over by the mansion which is a nice change of pace from hittin the same 2 jumps and a box runs. Nothing reminds me more of lower MI skiing more than hittin The Wall all covered in ice, that scraping noise just screams midwest.

Last year I went to brighton a bunch since its the closest to U of M. It kinda sucked. I think this year we're gonna drive the extra distane to pine knob.

don't forget about comerica, they have the sickest park in October. yeeeaaahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
