Destroyed by a rainbow rail

Rainbows are a harsh mistress. Too slow and you don't make it up, too fast and you suffer the same fate as this guy.

I hit the inferno one fast but only when it;s soft, and not upside down. That guy had crazy speed. He should have just gone with the flip and maybe come around feet first on the death flats

i fucking hate rainbows. i just want to throw that out there. i refuse to do them. this just solidified that.

let me upload one....
i went instructing this winter, my group and the group of a friend of mine (boarder) were together in the park. We were doing the easy boxes and kickers, then we proceeded to the big-rainbow rail, it was easy but it went over a lift cabin and was quite high and you had to pop to get onto it....
everything went fine for everyone untill one of the boarders took it full speed and forgot to pop....
allow me a moment to upload this...
-threadz...

guy was actually quite ok, he even limped back to the lift and was walking on his cast a day later...(he had a fractured ankle, and possibly some damaged ligaments)
He was the hero of the camp and we played the footage over and over again during the camp; eventually we gave the kid one of our monitor jackets because that was the most brutal crash any of us had ever seen :)

HOLY.EPIC.CRASH. Batman....
That needs to be Mega-Mo'd...... It seems like he's in the air getting mangled against the cabin for ages!
Ha ... what a mangle fest....
If you ever want to teach kids the importance of commitment... rails are black or white... there's no middle ground... go for it, or don't ....

it was actually quite perfect, a litle pop would've gotten him over without a problem...if it'd been a direct ride-on rail you'd have a lot more gapers attempting it and crashing horribly....
this kid should've been ok, he even did his first frontflip right before he took the rail; i guess he wasn't really paying attention and forgot to pop ....

I hate ones where you have to pop a lot to get on and the ramp is really close. So there's a huge vertical distance between the beginning of the rail and the edge of the ramp and it's scary. I still like them though, especially ones you can hand drag over.
