Design ideas for My graphic design class

So I have an assignment for my high school level graphic design class and need some ideas for this assignment.

Requirements: Use my initials in the design, must be a logo of some sort, create thumbnails and roughs

I was thinking of trying to include something skiing related but I'm not churning any great ideas. Any help?
 
Geometric mountains are super cool in my opinion. My initials are M, M, and C so I could do like a small mountain range with M's and a "C" Shaped river flowing out in the front

simple is good

your teacher should have taught you rules of design just use what they taught you
