i fully expect to get a few "cool story hansel"s and maybe even some cookie pictures for this, but

i self diagnosed myself with dequervain's tendonitis as a result of golfing. i decided this can be painful when trying to lift heavy objects. anyone else had this?

And you were expecting "cool story Hansel" and "here's a cookie"
Don't worry, we all make the mistake of posting things that resemble the words da, queer, and vein.

Yes, I had Osgood Schlatter's disease and its very similiar to tendonitus. Its basically as your growing your growth plate gets larger to protect everything, but as it gets bigger it scrapes against your patella and it makes your tendons tight, so when you bend your knee it stretches the tendon. At physiotherapy they made me stretch it 2 times a day for 10 minutes. Which helped.

i saw a doctor last time i had this problem like 2 years ago. the doctor didn't know anything. i decided to google for 5 minutes this time around and am 99.9% confident this is what i have

self diagnosis = win
