Denver to Aspen

What is the easiest way to get from the Denver airport to Aspen? Me and a buddy are flying in to Denver and need to get to Aspen. We looked at CME and it is hella fucking super duper expensive.
 
When day are you flying in? Since Denver is basically the gateway to the central mountains, a lot of people pass through on their way to ski, and could probably hook you up with a ride.
 
Amtrak Train and Greyhound drop off in glenwood springs. Then catch RAFTA (roaring fork transit authority) for like $8 a person to Aspen.

Price doubles if you try to wait til the week of on greyhound.

I get in March 6th and leave March 15th. Should I ask Ski Gabber?

actually amtrak isnt a bad idea. you can get the bus from the airport to union station for 10 bucks then get on the train from there. the only draw back is there's only one a day and it leaves suoer early. like 8am ish. and it takes forever. like 8 hours, worth it though. amazing views. cme is probably your best bet.
