There is no similarities between newschool skiing and racing other then the fact were both on 2 skis. Its not write that we are being pitted against racers in a battle for who has the best attitude. The majority of freeskiings elite are super cool chill guys and girls. Alot of racers are pompous fags. At the world cup at louise there was one dude who wouldnt even sign any autographs. Fuck that. If tanners going to say something stupid into a camera and then treat his fans with respect go for it. The media is a brainwashing machine. Plus how the fuck are so many of you getting so peeved that tanner said something arrogant and immature you the fucken president of the USA says things that are dumber and more dangerous to your health everyday. At least Tanner is good at what he does.

I don't think anyone said what Tanner's saying is worse than the atrocities committed by our president. In addition, this is ski gabber, hence us 'whining' about skiing.

This guy is 100% correct about this.

If Tanner was not on ESPN he would not have all the money that he has now and would not have near as many sponsors as he has.

If it were not for ESPN he would still be an underground skier.

50% of the people on this board would not know who Tanner Hall was if it were not for ESPN.

So when ESPN comes and interviews him he needs to be as nice and interview as good as he can becasue without them he dones not have as much money, he doesn't have as many sponsors, he doesn't have any fame. He is just another good skier at his local resort.

I lost a lot of respect for Tanner Hall after the X games.

Now that does not mean he is not a great skier just that he can be more grown up about things.

 
i agree. this kid is a prick in the park. he was training at breck and the kid jsut acts better than everyone. most of the pros that ride there are chill and they wait for other people in the park to do shit. tanner hall cuts people off because he is tanner hals - the pro fag.

i used to be a pretty big fan of tanner. i never wanted to suck his cock like some of you kids out there. but i had plenty of respect for the kid. then i finally meet him in the park and catch his true vibe and it completely changed my mind about the kid. then i see him on expn and he acted jsut as lame as he was when i met him. this year was a horrible year for the kid publicity wise. when he comes to colorado he needs ot realize the cameras are on him and he's gotta shape up. no one likes a fucking punk.

I hope womens freeskiing gets more publicity. Sarah Burke would be a person to have as newschool skiing's face to the world. She already is, but kind of gets overshadowed by Tanner and men's freeskiing. She seems very professional, a mature athlete, and friendly. Don't make fucking posts aobut how I'm an asskisser and shit, because chances are I will never meet Sarah Burke, let alone have a chance with her, haha.

Anyways, Tanner should step out of the spot light, stop being such a greedy bastard. The spotlight makes him money, at a sacrafice to the sport. I hope his sponsors don't see all the negative publicity as a good thing, because franky, its not. Tanner Hall may be a good skier, but I think he hit his peak last year.
