Does anyone have any idea how to make some artificial Dendix type material, for dry slope skiing?

dendix is the shit that's in like a diamond pattern with all the holes in it right? i'd imagine that would be a severe pain in the ass to try to duplicate. i wouldn't even be able to start telling you where to begin.

are you trying to make a large piece of skiable area or just a run-in for a rail? if it's the second, then i hear the stuff they use on mini-golf courses works alright
