So me and my friends have a drop basically built check my pictures for reference to the drop and were debating whether putting astroturf or dendex over it.
im afraid that with an 8 foot drop at a 45º angle it might be a bit too fast and its definitly a lot more money.
and also does it hurt too fall on from the videos ive seen it looks like a hard surface. maybe im retarded idk.
any help would be great
 
yoo, id probaly use turf, i havnt skiied Dendex but turf works fine. Alot of soap and water and your sweeeet :D
 
Use turf/outdoor carpet with soap and water, dendex can hurt and with that steep of a drop in it's better to use turf , + turf is cheaper
 
OKAY im building this drop as well with my friends and the friend that is paying for it all is saying that soap costs a lot in the long run hed rather get dentex that does not require soap just some little bit of water..ASWELL as dentex might be more durable and last longer then some turf.. thoughts?
 
you really dont need the 4 dollar good for the enviroment save the whales green peace dial soap. just buy kroger brand for a buck

Turf is like $150 cheaper, which that is 150 things of soap if we buy what this guy is talking about
 
You don't even need to go with turf. Get some cheap carpet remnants or see if a carpet store has some stuff they are throwing away. Also if there is some carpet pad laying around, grap that too. That will make it softer. Put that on your inrun and spray it down with soap and water and you're golden. Low pile would be better probably, but if it's free, you won't lose anything by trying it out.
 
about 95% of the people who fall on dendex WILL break their thumbs. In the UK we ski it with our thumbs tucked in, but don't use it for park stuff. Snowflex is better but yeh go for turf and IDK put some kind of a mat underneath to absorb impact.
 
Dendex is the easiest way to lose thumb ligaments, the top 12 layers of your skin, and your pride.

But in turn youll become gnarls barkley and laugh at pussies who hurt themselves on snow.

The choice is yours.
 
ya i dont think were trying to spend more money on something thats gonna fuck us up. literally
