Hey guys, I just saw this article posted today and thought I'd share the link here. The woman in the article, Laura, was the daughter of my dad's extremely good friend since high school(still lives in the same town, he's my mechanic). Great family, and it was a tragedy that should never have happened to them. But anyhow, this article is about how she and her husband decided they wanted a child, but would have been unable to due to chemo treatments that had to start. Laura's best friend ended up agreeing to be a surrogate mother and have their child. Their daughter was just born in November, but unfortunately Laura lost her battle to cancer this summer.
