i've had a few threads deleted recently and i was just curious as to why. are there any rules i can read about whether or not a thread is ok?

-one involved me wanting to trade people stuff

-another involved me looking for people to help design a logo for my ski club

im not trying to be a dick, i am just curious

ya how does that work?

And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying,O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade that with it thou mayest blow thine enemies to tiny bits and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and breakfast cereals and...

Are you sure it didn't get moved over to the appropriate forum category?

I had gone through the deleted threads and saw no sign of it. Also, what could've happened is that it accidentally got transported to one of the forums like regional on accident.

ic. it's no big deal. sometimes when the threads get moved between forums i get confused. keep up the good work though mods

There really hasn't been any rigid guidelines, it has been left at the mods discretion.

But there really is very little that the mods delete. Even some pretty offensive things have been left on.

Generally, here are some things that may get deleted:

1. Postwhoring

2. Duplicate posts/threads (even if it's done on accident, they may get removed in order to clean up the threads)

3. Extremely racist/offensive

4. Just plain stupid and pointless

5. Constant bashing on an ns member/pro athlete/etc. not presented reasonably.

6. Illegal/Criminal (ie: a thread was deleted not too long ago that asked other members to participate in fraud)

7. If a user asks us to remove his thread or a thread that involves him and gives us justifiable reason, the mods will consider it.

There's an idea of some of the things that may get deleted. Also, remember that there is no written guidelines and it is left open to the mods discretion.

Haha I love #5....the end of it...."if not presented reasonably"...so great
