Duly noted.

Here is the PSIA definition of Pop:

To extend the legs to help create lift off the ground (i.e. an ollie) or "center pop" in which the entire length of the skis or snowboard leaves the ground.

I believe pop stands for popular in music. So when I go off the lip of a jump and jump, i just populared?

pop:

• make a sudden, sharp, explosive sound

• cause (something) to burst, making such a sound

• make a small popping sound within the head as pressure is equalized, typically because of a change of altitude.

when youre talking about the pop of a ski you are mostly talking about its flex. A skis pop depends on the rider like how big you are or how hard you go but pop is when you would flex the ski for ollie or nollie and then using that flex to pop yourself so buying the softest ski in the world wont necessarily give you flex unless ur a really light skier or if ur a bigger guy you can make pretty much any ski pop
