^Yes you do Minichuggas. You are always trying to dog on the other boutique ski ocmpanies b/c you ride for Ninthward. Actually, having a hotel room at SIA is a smart move for a small company. They can set appointments with ski shops and have private viewings of their products without paying the ridiculous costs of a booth ($10,00) at the show. Plus they can protect thier ideas from the loads of designers that walk around SIA trying to steal ideas. Why do you think everyone was so damn secretive this year? You couldn't even get into some of the booths without a "buyer pass." Lots of companies do the hotel route when they are just starting. Just because Cambell's trust fund allowed Ninthward to get a booth does not mean it was a smart use of his resources.

actually, my friend rides for liberty...i have nothing against them at all, in my opinion i dont think that was the best business decision. so dont call me an ignorant little fuck for what i think. but for a small company, to get your name out there and show that you have potential, i would say having a booth is a very wise decision. but thats my opinion, so dont get ur little panties in a knot.

haha guys chill out, if i remember correctly, there's going to be a press release on the front page of NS. and i BELIEVE that will be up during the VT Open. It might be after since Kevin (the owner) is also going to the VT Open

building a ski company takes lots of time so you can rush these things. kevin made a bad decision by putting out the word about defi skis wayyyyy to early. companies like Armada had been in the works for quite sometime before they were released and lots just didnt hear about it

1. I hope he succeeds i really do because more skis to choose from the cheaper they are, the more progressive they are and more competition.

2. I believe that the window of oportunity has shut this new ski company might go through the cracks

3. In the next 5 years it will become survival of the fittest for the new ski companies 4 frnt and armada are there for sure but liberty, ninthward, prior, defi and all the other new companys will be slugging it out

4. Shut the fuck up if your dissen some one whos trying to make it in the industry i would sell skis out of a cardboard box if i had to so i could make a ski company.

And why criticize peoples creative and entrepreneurship if someone starts a business you guys should be glad cause that means there be more opportunity for you in the ski industry if it means being a rep or becoming a sponsored skier. It also brings more comptetition to the larger companys that have jacked up prices. So just support for once and stop trying to bash this kids idea if you only how difficult it actually is to start a business youd be surprised. Ambush is real, and people buy shit cause is awsome looking and good quality, and thats what ambush is. No need to bash eachother. it pisses me off that when companies first came out everyone was so stoked to see rider owned companies, but now when anyone tries to make them all they get is shit. i say props to ambush, cadge, defi and anyone else who is trying to do something in the industry hopefully they all succed and help the industry grow

 
no matter what anyone says, having your "booth" in your hotel room is not the correct way to go about being at SIA or at any trade show. it shows that your company is unprofessional and uncoordinated. i don't have anything against ninthward or anyone who rides for them, but don't try to feed us some bullshit line that the hotel room route is that direction the industry is going in b/c everyone knows thats complete bullshit. maybe ninthward couldn't cough up the cash or they got screwed over and registered two late (two legitimate excuses b/c those booths are not cheap and they were sold out pretty quickly) but having your "booth" in your room and trying to get ppl to go up to the room is honestly pretty fucking sketch and makes your company look pretty stupid. i just thought i needed to add those two cents

 
I hung out at the Ninthward booth at SIA. So you're wrong.

It is great to see all the new companies coming out. It's what will foster growth and competition in our industry, which is nothing but good.

I say props to everyone who has the balls to start a new ski company.

There for real, just the made the mistake of trying to make hype and such, but letting everyone know there coming, and puttng up a "coming soon website".....but i think they'll eventually finish up their manufacturing, and start moving a bit of prodct

If the company gets off the ground then it'll be sick but just out of curiosity where are u guys getting the funding and designs, ect. I'm not trying to hate but im just curious. You must have some pretty rich parents or relatives, and who designs the skis, cause i know most companies have people with enginerring experience and other things, again im not trying to hate on the company, but i think these are pretty fair questions
