Deep powder tree skiing. Do you like?

Tree skiing is one of my favorite aspects of the sport. Its exhilarating, challenging, and dangerous. This video was shot in the untouched, sheltered forests at The Canyons resort in Park City, UT. One of the most memorable powder days I've had there. Who loves swangin through the trees on a pow day?

thank you for posting this and making me question why im playing college baseball and not doing this at home.

Don't look at anything but snow! Seriously, your body tends towards where you are looking, so if you look at the gaps in trees that is where you'll go

biking, especially single track in the mountains, is the best cross training for tree skiing. With both, you are constantly looking ahead, analyzing, searching for your line.

The perfect thing for a foggy day! I love tree skiing. It can get a bit hairy up here in the pnw sometimes though with massive branches sticking out and super deep tree wells. So fun though...it really needs to snow!

awesome pov.. tree skiing deep pow is the best..really i cant think of anything that involves pow that isn't fun.

Ian you have some of the best POVs made.
please post them as often as you can cause i cant get enough of them.

Wow the OP is a piece of shit.
He creates a thread under the pretense of asking a question just to pimp his own video.
Why not just created a thread "pow skiing stoke"
I know its not a big deal but seriously dude you suck.

this gave me an idea, cuz i live in a place where there never is pow i culd fcuss on mountainbiking and than when i ski pow i hope i got better without skiing it,thank you man

coming from the east coast thats where the only untouched snow is and there are some awesome cliffs hidden in the trees on a pow day

It wasn't THAT good.
Plus 1:30 seconds to get to the skiing part on a 4 minute long vid? WTF. I don't want to watch you go up a chairlift or see you walking around reminding my that most of park shitty is flat. I lived there for a year, I already know it.

You want tree pow stokePOV Volume I: WP Powder from samuel forsyth on Vimeo.
Posted by some amateur. His first helmet cam film. This is tree pow. Not the flat medow skipping in epic pow in the first post.

bro this edit was good skiing but the filming sucked. The other one was actually thought out and was quality

Hate it!

:P

Great video, and as posted, focusing on the gaps, not the trees inbetween helps immensely. Singletrack mountain biking is just like skiing trees.

Did you read my post. I said I was upset with the way he posted with a question when obviously the only intent of the post was to pimp his own video.
Honestly who here would say, "oh no I really hate epic powder hidden in the trees where it lasts longer and the gapers cant get to it. And face shots, fuck those, all that snow in your face, hate it"
Come on.
