Dee Dee Ramone Dies

The only real Ramone(in my eyes, he and Joey were the Ramones) was found dead last night. THis is fucking terrible, they said accidental drug overdose, but in his book Lobotomy, which everyone should read, he said he was clean for like 8 years running. Why do people take to hard drugs when they get famous?

'He got fired? What did he do?'

'He jumped off of the roof again'
 
THAT SUCKS...I get sick of hearing all these awesome people OD. Really sad, It really is!

What does everyone expect? The more of the greats are going to die soon and a whole new generation with develop. Its the way things go. It is sad that he died, though.

I was at a show last year at CBGBs shortly after Joey's death and in an incredible support of the Ramones and what they meant to not just punk but to music in general every band played at least one Ramones song. I dont remember which band did it but they played only ramones songs their entire set. In between sets a lot of the founding fathers of punk from the late 70s were there and went on stage and talked about Joey. Truly a terribly sad but still amazing experience, had to be one of the most emotional shows I have ever been to.

The irony is that you totally suck and the look down on me and I dont give a f---. Cause I hate assholes...
