Decision of my teenage life

ok so i sold my dirtibke to get some money and i have enough to buy a nice car but i kinda want another bigger bike. so i turn 16 in june 25th and my parents have plenty of cars for me to drive.

my question is should i buy a bike and have fun or buy a car i can have for my self all respectable comments will be +K thanks everyone

car has way more uses. get the car. Plus you need special permits and licenses to ride street or dirt bike in the road. Bike comes later.

Bike, you will save money on gas and insurance, and think about it, you will ride your bike all summer, spring, most of fall then car in the winter. One of my biggest regrets in my automotive history is choosing car over bike (I also have cars available for winter, so I didn't need to have a car for summer)

I assume youre getting a road legal bike and not an off road bike.

Car. Even if your parents have cars for you to use they probably aren't going to available 100% of the time. Plus it's just nice to have your own shit instead of bumming off your parents, although I'm not saying that's a bad thing at your age. Still just feels good.

Get a road-legal dirt bike. I ride mine to uni on weekdays and take it shredding on weekends. One tank will last me over a week and its bad-ass and a shitload of fun to ride around on.

+ you can take girls for rides on it.

if you got the money and you could get a nice car i would do that. you can take more people with you and carry more stuff where ever you wanna go. like skis, longboard etc

get the bike! you're sixteen, you have access to a car already, and the bike would probably be less

YOLO , get the bike.

I had the exact same scenario except I was fifteen. I sold my bike and bought a truck with a blown transmission, then spent the extra money buying parts and fixing it, then I started making it a trail rig. Learned a ton about engines and drivetrains, and it was worth it easily. For me.

Bike. Cars are money pits and if your parents have plenty of cars for you to drive, what's the point of getting your own beater? If your parents have plenty of cars I'm assuming you're pretty well off, so most if not all of your parent's cars will be nicer than any piece of shit beater you buy. It seems like it'd be cool to have your own car, but I just couldn't see myself buying a car before at least 18.

That's if your responsible, I would personally get a street legal bike if you already have a car available.

when the time comes ill probably try and get a road legal bike as biking is my summer passion while skiing is my winter, you dont get the same experience you do on a car then you do on a bike. plus more bitches will want to ride on a dirt bike then a shitty old car.

if your parents have multiple nice cars then you should probably just spend the money on something else and ask your parents if they would give you, or designate a car to you.

car. gets you from a to b any month of the year, and doubles as a bedroom for that dirty slut you pick up all coked out on the side of the street.

This is what I think you should do.Put your money in a safe placement. When you hit 18 , you will prolly have close to 200-300 $ more .Use your parents car as long as you can. You dont need to pay for insurance, plates and what not.

unless your parents are going to pay for insurance, maintenance, ect. get the bike. and even if your parents do all that its really going to be their car. so get a bike and wait on a car till your 18 and it will actually be yours

I'd go with bike. if your parents have a car for you to drive then use that. plus they will pay for maintenance and everything on the car then cus cars take a lot of money for upkeep.

depends, do your parents pay for gas and insurance if you buy a car, and also, when you go to college can you bring the car you've been using of theirs with you?

depending on how you answer that would be how I would choose which one

in all actuality you should just buy a ton of cocaine with it, kill your whole family and take the cars then proceed to buy the dirtbike. now you have the best of both worlds dontchya know
