Decision HELP: Tahoe or not?

Wassup NS, so heres the situation im 16 and my father's moving to tahoe. Here in my hometown bend theres no good work and hes struggling. He got an offer for a job in tahoe and hes going to have a free house to live in. Obviously the skiing in Tahoe is going to be better than skiing on bachelor, theres also way more exposure and bigger competitions down there. Plus we'd have more money and i'd be able to get a car. However all of my good friends are here, I'm on the mountains team and have a free pass, and i also have hook ups to reps and companies through my shop sponsor. As well as my mother and two little brothers 9 & 4 years of age would be leaving elsewhere but visiting as often as possible.

So my question is this, move to Tahoe with my dad to new everything and start fresh? Or stay here in bend with my siblings, mother, friends and connections?

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond! +++K

sounds like a decision newschoolers, nor you, are mature enough to make...
take some lsd and let that tell you your path young padawon

Tahoe is awesome.
I live here so I'd know. And it makes me sort of biased.

But at the same time, it looks like you've got a lot going for you in Bend. I'd stay there for the time being and then move when you feel the time is right.

haha sounds like I might be a little more mature than you think. Its a serious decision either way i have to leave one of my parents, don't think ill be letting lsd decide anything for me.

If you're worried about getting dank in Tahoe, don't.
If you're worried about not having a shitload of cougars who are dtf, don't.
If you're worried about your life sucking in Tahoe, don't.

So, in short, get your ass to Cali.

Decisions like this are pretty tough but you just have to think that nothing is permanent. Just choose whatever feels "right". I recently (two years ago) had to make the same decision. My dad lives in Sacramento (1.5 hours from Tahoe) and my mom moved to Montana. So I had the choice of staying with my dad and all of my friends or moving to MT. Looking back, I have no clue why I moved to MT and I personally wish I would have never moved but I did enjoy being here and it wasn't that bad. Anyways, I'm moving back to CA in a few months. Moral of the story? Nothing is permanent. Well, almost nothing. I guess getting paralyzed is pretty permanent but that wasn't really the point. Good luck dude.

yupyup we puff tuff here in Tahoe, tons of sleddin and you might spend a day figurin out what mountain to ride at for the day
