While I disagree with many things you say on this site, I would like to commend you for your choice in Fiji from Old Spice. I love Fiji. It smells ravishing.

bleh, to me a paleo diet isn't a strict diet, it's more of a lifestyle change.

far too many of us satisfy ourselves with baked goods, carbs, salts, and a bunch of other shit that is really just fattening calorie-heavy filler rather than nutritious meals.

trying to stick to a paleo diet, for me, really just helps me tone down the crap food and instead fill up on protein and fruits and veges. and it's done wonders for me so far.

rather than eating a sub, i have the ingredients. ill have a chicken salad and scrap the mayo and bread. rather than stuff my face cheese and crackers i have carrots and celery. instead of a handful of chips for a snack ill have some assorted nuts.

i don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, but some people like to analyze shit to death or take it overboard. become extremists.

i'd recommend most people TRY to eat mostly paleo, and in turn they'll really just become more health conscious and fill up on nutritious meals rather than filling quick and easy snacks.

The way I see it (and wrongly so):

life expectancy in paleolithic era was probably about 25.

life expectancy now is about 80.

I'll stick with my modern day diet.

It means eating as close to what a paleolithic person ate as is possible. That means no grains, and no processed food.

The whole paleo vs. non paleo diet is a pretty trivial argument to me.

eat whichever way makes you feel the best and makes you healthy, and that's all that matters.

but this lady says that might not be true. also modern vegetables are almost all selectively bred from agriculture and the meat (which we likely in small quantities) was much more lean than the farmed animals we eat today. so really the diet might not be that close to what a paleolithic person ate at all.
